Changing seasons are often a little problematic for your precious pooch to deal with. Season changes can affect our furry friends in more ways than we can originally imagine. Here are some potential problems that can recur on a seasonal basis:
Fleas are a menace in particular seasons and your doggie may well contract the same simply by playing outdoors or going on long walks with you every day. Fleas multiply rapidly and cause red bumps that lead to frequent scratching.
Dogs who love having a ball outdoors and in areas with substantial grass coverage or trees are vulnerable to ticks. Dogs can also contract ticks from their buddies as well. Ticks lead to potential Lyme disease and symptoms include loss of appetite, fever, joint pain, swellings, limping, swelling of the lymph nodes and excessive lethargy.
