Himalaya partnered with the 17,000 ft Foundation, an organization that works to improve people’s lives in remote, high altitude mountainous villages, to provide health and hygiene kits to 220 schools and 220 Anganwadi centers* in the remote villages of Leh. It was a four-month project, which enabled us to cover more than 220 hamlets in Ladakh and reach out to more than 200,000 students and people from local communities. The program promoted safe health and sanitization practices through awareness sessions in schools and villages.
